Biographical Information:
Author of four books and hundreds of magazine articles, Ken Lizotte, CMC, transforms companies, consultants and business leaders into “thoughtleaders” by getting their book and article ideas published and increasing their credibility and visibility in the media. Chief Imaginative Officer (CIO) of emerson consulting group inc., Concord Massachusetts, his firm’s client roster includes the MIT Enterprise Forum, Keane Inc., The Consulting Exchange, the IP law firm of Wolf Greenfield, Intertech Engineering Associates, Atrion Networking, The Levinson Institute and Ameriprise Financial.
Ken is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Institute of Management Consultants , a co-founder of the National Writers Union, a seminar leader at Harvard University and a contributing columnist for the American Management Association. He speaks regularly at national conferences and company meetings on the subjects of writing, publishing, creativity and media relations.

Steve Markman is President of Markman Speaker Management (MSM), which he founded in 1994 in Boston. MSM's Speaker Placement Service is used by corporate executives, professional service firms, and consultants, from a wide variety of fields, including technology, law, life sciences, strategy consulting, and financial services. Speaking engagements are obtained for clients in strategic events held worldwide.
Mr. Markman has nearly 20 years of experience in speaker placement and recruitment. Prior to launching MSM, Mr. Markman held the position of Vice President of worldwide conferences for BIS Strategic Decisions (now Giga Information Group). Prior to that, he served as Director of Conferences for The Interface Group (now Key3Media), producers of COMDEX, the largest trade show in North America. Previously he was Executive Director, Conference Division, for The Conference Board, Inc., where he managed over 100 annual worldwide conferences and seminars, targeted to senior executives. Prior to entering the conference industry, Mr. Markman served as Director of Research and Consultant for the management consulting division of Alexander & Alexander, specializing in human resources management. Earlier in his career, Mr. Markman was a research analyst and statistical writer for Forbes. Mr. Markman graduated from Herbert Lehman College of the City University of New York with joint degrees in economics and psychology.
Mr. Markman was formerly the host and producer of a cable television series, Eye on Entrepreneurs. He served for two years as President of Brookline Access Television Corp. He has spoken on the subject of obtaining speaking engagements at conferences and forums held by numerous organizations, including the CEO Club-Boston, Public Relations Society of America, Institute of Management Consultants, Boston Bar Association, Legal Marketing Association-New England, and State Capital Global Law Firm Group. He has participated as a guest lecturer at Emerson College.
